I am 75 years old with low income. I also have serious injuries to my right leg and hip and leg overall. I can’t fit/utilize the tiny front shower and have been using my tub shower in the ensuite. It posed a serious safety issue having to lift my leg over the high soaker tub wall in and out, along with a very small foot space. My daughters raised the safety issue and suggested that I get a proper shower.
I called Bathroom Brothers and spoke to Dwight, a great guy with a truth and no bs ethic like myself. He came out and took measurements and later worked up a quote and sent it to me. While here he pointed out that I might be able to get a partial rebate from the government agency RAHA, which I never heard of. It took quite a while but they approved my application. I ended up purchasing a teak shower bench and shower equipment ( 16″extension to a 10″ rain shower, valve, faucet, and a 5″ sliding hand shower all of which I supplied to the project ) Everything else Bathroom Brothers supplied and installed. They minimized any mess as they went and completely cleaned up behind them.This included a new full size base, subway acrylic on 3 walls, smooth acrylic on the ceiling, and a 10mm thick glass panel and sliding door, 2 glass corner shelves along with 3 safety guardrails.
The 2 workers started work at 8:30am and only took a lunch break and worked until 8:00pm. They removed the old shower, took the walls out to the studs, installed the plumbing along with scabbing wood to support the guardrails. Next was to put up new drywall, all the acrylic pieces, the plumbing fixtures and guardrails, and the glass shelves, the glass panel and sliding door.Lastly they applied a special treatment to the inside of the glass to prevent water marks, lets water just run down of it and minimizes the cleaning requirements. Dwight was great and easy to deal with, and he did show he had my best interest at heart. The 2 workers were also great and easy to deal with. I absolutely love my new shower and they did a fabulous job as shows with the before and after pics. I would totally recommend them to anyone.

Thanks to the crew for transforming our old tub and shower unit into a beautifully finished unit. The removal of the old tile and tub plus the new install was completed in one day, with follow up for a minor adjustment. This company did fabulous work a few months prior on two bathrooms for our daughter and son in law. We were impressed with the whole process from the quote to the two day completion. The updated deep and luxurious tubs installed was possible due to the removal of the old ones, unlike the bath remodel for our other bathroom five years ago with no removal, just a new tub placed over the old, but the same old style.
