I really enjoyed working with the team at SSC – everyone I dealt with was extremely helpful and patient. When you’re dealing with your first major home renovation and all the stress that comes along with it (as I was), it’s really helpful and a relief to know that you are dealing with professionals who are extremely customer-service oriented and will take the time to explain and show you all of the different options (materials, colour, patterns, edges, thickness, plus what seems like a hundred other things you didn’t know or realize). I visited their office and showroom a few times where Daryn took me into the shop to show/explain to me the technicalities of all things countertops. Although our original choice of countertop wasn’t available (2-3 month delay), Melody was able to suggest other alternatives that were similar (and actually slightly cheaper!) and more readily available. I would highly recommend SSC Countertops to anyone looking for beautiful workmanship (part of the job included building a countertop around the brick chimney in our kitchen), great customer service, on time (work was completed quickly once we had everything sorted) and on budget!
